Filmed during May and June 2022, this 35-minute travel documentary follows a summer road trip on a Yamaha Ténéré 700. The journey begins in Florida, where the rider collects the motorcycle from a warehouse, and ends at Cape Cod. Along the way, the film visits coastal landscapes, mountain regions and places of historical interest.
The journey
From Florida, the route passes through Georgia, including Jekyll Island and Driftwood Beach, then continues to South Carolina and Charleston in pouring rain. The ride takes in the barrier islands of North Carolina’s Outer Banks and the Blue Ridge Parkway, before heading through Virginia and West Virginia. Further north, stops include Pennsylvania, New York’s Adirondack Mountains, Vermont and Maine’s Acadia National Park. Near Boston, the rider meets a car collector, before the trip reaches its Cape Cod finale.
