About the creator

Based in Sweden, Emil explores winter landscapes by motorcycle, recording journeys shaped by snow, ice and cold. Frozen Bike Ride brings together documentary films, photography and stories from the road, with the winter environment central to the experience rather than simply a backdrop. Across the project’s films, routes reach into northern Scandinavia, including Finnmark and North Cape, as well as Finland.
