Things Get Wild In Florida & Texas | S2EP35
EDITORIAL SUMMARY
A North American instalment in an ongoing KTM 790 journey, this episode shifts between motorcycle travel and time spent exploring away from the bike. Florida visits, a return to service the motorcycle and a day working cattle shape its Florida-and-Texas frame.
About this film
Part of Season 2, “Riding My KTM 790 Through North America,” the 17-minute film follows a modified KTM 790 Adventure S during a wider round-the-world trip. The journey takes a break from riding when the motorcycle is left behind for a flight and several days in Miami. The episode then turns to a cattle-working day with Austin, adding a different kind of hands-on experience to the travel narrative.
The journey
In Florida, the trip includes a visit to the Everglades and a drive with Eric to the most southerly point in the United States. A flight back gives the rider the chance to service the KTM before the journey continues. The episode’s title also places the story in Texas, where a day working cattle with Austin brings the rider into a real-world cowboy routine. Rather than focusing only on miles on the road, this chapter follows some of the people and activities encountered along the way, while keeping the motorcycle journey as its wider context.
